Arbil (IraqiNews.com) -The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan PUK led by the President, Jalal Talabani, stressed “The need for the unity among the Kurdish sides in the current phase, and everyone’s commitment to the Constitution, dialogue and the implementation of the concluded agreements.”
A statement by PUK cited “A delegation from the Political Bureau of the PUK headed by, Mullah Bakhatyar, visited the headquarter of the Political Office of the Islamic Group in Arbil, where they were received warmly by the prince of the Islamic Group besides a number of leaders within the IG.”
“They discussed during the meeting, the situations in Kurdistan Region, Iraq and in the region with emphasis on consolidating unity among the Kurdish forces and strengthening the Kurdistani ties in the current stage,”
“Both sides asserted the necessity to adhere to Erbil Agreement and to implement its provisions to maintain the unity of the Kurdish decision in west of Kurdistan Region,” the statement concluded.
